"The Secret of Nimh" from 1982 was Don Bluth's directorial debut after leaving Disney - and the movie is a lush, gorgeous tale (scary too!) that shows his roots in the Disney animation world. It was based on the novel by Robert C. O'Brien, "Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of NIMH." Frisbee had to be changed to Brisby to avoid copyright infringement on the frisbee brand!

This is a lovely original production animation cel of Mrs. Brisby carrying her child's medicine (from Ages)! We have paired it with a color laser print background from the scene in the movie and we've included Jeremy on the printed background - HE IS NOT ON A CEL. The cel of Mrs. Brisby measures approx. 10.5" x 12.5".

We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork.
