Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs production animation cel drawing Disney 1937
SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS 1937 Original Production ROUGH PAN Drawing of 4 of the Seven Dwarfs
Includes a Charles Scott Gallery COA
A beautiful rough drawing of some of the Dwarfs!
"Mark my words, there's trouble a-brewing" says Grumpy when the dwarfs return home and see smoke coming out of their cottage chimney. This is one of a series of animation roughs we have of Grumpy holding back Sneezy, Sleepy, and Bashful. The dwarfs were primarily animated in this film by Fred Moore and Bill Tytla. This is graphite on trimmed 16 field 5-peghole animation paper, trimmed (on top - so not near the image) to approximately 15.5" x 9.5". From the Cecil Beard estate. Paper has been used in the production so there are wrinkles, tiny edge issues, folds, etc. so see the pics please (they are over 80 years old!). We'll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.
Cecil Beard was recruited by the fledgling Walt Disney Studio in Hollywood to work on their 1st animated feature, Snow White, which was already in production, he also worked on Pinocchio and Bambi.
